Cult Spaghetti Westerns, DVD

Triple set of spaghetti westerns. In 'Django' (1966) the eponymous anti-hero (Franco Nero), an ex-Yankee soldier, arrives in a border ghost town with speed-of-light gun skills, a romantic heart - his wife was killed by a local KKK member - and an enigmatic morality.

He soon gets involved with the local battle between bandits and the Klu Klux Klan and ends up slaughtering them all.

In 'Keoma' (1976) Nero plays a mixed race soldier who finds on his return from the civil war that his hometown is overrun with gangsters.

Finally, in 'A Bullet for the General' (1966), set during the Mexican revolution in 1913, a government agent (Lou Castell) is sent to infiltrate a gang of bandits led by a revolutionary general (Gian Maria Volonte), in order to win the general's trust and then assassinate him.
