Law and Disorder: The Complete Series, DVD

The complete series of the 1990s comedy starring Penelope Keith as a barrister who isn't averse to bending the law to spare her clients falling foul of it.

Written by Alex Shearer and directed by John Howard Davies, the programme follows Philippa Troy (Keith) as she represents a range of clients including a football fan sporting a tattoo they didn't want and a sailor accused of cannibalism.

Her main rival in the courtroom is Gerald Triggs (Simon Williams) and, though she often gets the better of him, Philippa relaxes away from the intensity of their rivalry by writing children's books with a bizarre hedgehog hero.

The episodes are: 'What Goes Up', 'One for the Album', 'A Night to Remember', 'A Slip of the Pen', 'The Cannibal' and 'Safe As Houses'.
