  • Some great recipes in Nigella's inimitable style. Just made her extra chocolaty chocolate cookies and they are amazing. A must have if you are a ran and even if you aren't and are just looking for a new cookbook.

  • I am cooking my way through this book and documenting it on my food blog - I have said before, if I could only grab a few books on the way out of the house, this would definitely be one of them. The recipes are mostly easy and quick...always delicious. But fattening when she uses lots of cream and butter...and that is much of the time. Love this book.

  • I adore this book! I love the way Nigella writes it is welcoming, humble, and witty. When I first got it I read it cover to cover. The recipe for the maple ribs and chicken was requested by my housemates so often I have it memorized. Also her recipe for chocolate pudding will send you into a bliss so deep you may not be heard from for days. Sadly this book is somewhat light on the vegetables, but she has other books that address them more depth.
