Solange Burrell

Solange Burrell grew up in Bristol and then moved to London to study her BA Honours in journalism at university, having always enjoyed writing. She has worked in HR, as a building surveyor and a local journalist, as well as various bar jobs, in call centres and customer service roles. She currently lives in Canada, Niagara, with her husband and enjoys running, drawing, and learning to play the acoustic guitar. Whilst writing her debut novel, Yeseni and the Daughter of Peace, Solange said she felt like the most authentic version of herself that she’s been since Secondary School English Literature class.
