 On November 4 , 2022, House Judiciary Committee Republicans released a staff report claiming that a multitude of whistle blowers had contacted them to describe a wide range of politically motivated misconduct at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)These allegations appear to form the basis of the Republican investigation into the FBI's politicized bureaucracy and misconduct and abuses apparent in the Justice Department.
