Description

It's 1887, and a prison on the east side of the territory has been ordered closed by the legislature. The governor wants the convicts transported to the newly constructed Territorial Penitentiary outside the city of Walla Walla, Washington Territory.

The warden only has eight guards to take with him on the train, so he has sent Levi Sawyer a telegram asking him to assist in the transport. Levi's old friend Badger insists on going along.
