This is Volume III of six in a series on Ethics and Political Philosophy. Originally published in 1930, this takes the early Tsin period and looks at the history of Chinese political thought.

It is based on the notes of lectures which Mr. Liang Chi-Chao delivered first at the College of Law and Politics in Peking, and later at South-eastern University and the College of Law and Politics in Nanking during the year 1922.
