by Malcolm John Baker
Paperback / softback
Description
Merlin has been moved on from his encounter with King Arthur and Robin Hood to Middle-Aged England; he has become in charge of the archers to King Henry V in his war with France, leading to the Battle of Agincourt. Romance flourishes, along with espionage and treachery. He is then moved on by the ghost of Viviane, lady of the lake, from King Arthur to Queen Elizabeth and the Spanish Armada, where he meets Shakespeare in person and is with Francis Drake in the sea battle. He marries and takes on running of the Globe Theater.
Malcolm John Baker was born in Salisbury, England, in 1945. By trade he was a chartered surveyor and practiced in South London, England. Now retired, he lives in Florida, USA, enjoying the sunshine and alligators!
His books are inspired by his extensive travels and current affairs. He endeavours to include historic incidents in his books and write a fictional story around that. It becomes interesting when you hold a conversation with William Shakespeare and others of that ilk. The next project is his film production of Daylight Robbery. He is excited by this change of career. The film will be released spring 2020. Please visit his website, malcolmjohnbaker.com
