Saint Catherine of Siena is recognized as one of the most remarkable women of the Middle Ages.
The Dialogue of the spoken word of God the Father through Catherine, was transcribed by Raymond of Capua, while she was engaged in mystical trances between 1377 and 1379. She died in 1380. There are four major Treatises with ninety subsections.
All are related to Divine Mercy and God's love for humanity, through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, embodied in the Holy Trinity for the salvation of souls.
The author breaks down a difficult 86,000 word read into 26,000 words of salient theological concepts into quotes of sentences or paragraph formats.
This easily readable format has not been utilised in any language to my knowledge.
This Dialogue in God's own words was on target for a population in political turmoil in Europe.
