Sagas igelkott skadar sig och måste få vård. Flickan tar mod till sig och ber apotekaren om hjälp. Bakom tantens barska fasad gömmer sig en djurkär människa.
Sagas sommarbestyr kulminerar i ett födelsedagsfirande som pågår i flera dagar och som slutar med en glad överraskning.
