Davis served North Carolina as its official typographer for many years, printing both official documents and general literature.

The vast majority of extant North Carolina imprints are of his printing.

This book is a bibliography of those and other imprints available to the historian. Originally published in 1938. A UNC Press Enduring Edition -- UNC Press Enduring Editions use the latest in digital technology to make available again books from our distinguished backlist that were previously out of print.
