Squinting to See the Rainbow : Trusting the Promises of God in Our Darkest Days, Paperback / softback Book

Squinting to See the Rainbow : Trusting the Promises of God in Our Darkest Days Paperback / softback

Paperback / softback

Description

On March 19, 2011, six-year-old Benji Easler died in the most unforeseen way imaginable when the miniature train ride he was on derailed onto a rocky creek bank in a county park in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Others, including Benji’s parents and his two brothers, were seriously hurt, but Benji was the only one to succumb to his injuries. In the days, weeks and months that followed, Dwight and Tabitha Easler, along with their three children (Hannah was born just weeks after the accident) struggled to make sense of the loss of their irrepressible Benji. Embraced by their church and buoyed by the promises of Scripture, they eventually emerged on the other side of their nightmare with a deeper faith in their creator and an abiding appreciation for the people of God who loved them through their darkest days. This is their story.
