This volume explores the work and thought of Edith Stein (1891–1942).
It discusses in detail, and from new perspectives, the traditional areas of her thinking, including her ideas about women/feminism, theology, and metaphysics.

The guiding thread that connects all the essays in this book is the emphasis on new approaches and novel applications of her philosophy.
