Big Bill Broonzy was one of the first American blues artists to play in Europe, and this fine recording shows how he infuenced a generation of guitar players including Eric Clapton, John Lennon, Jerry Garcia and Bert Jansch. 'Live in Amsterdam 1953' was recorded in Amsterdam, Netherlands and features ten tracks by this inaugural member of the Blues Hall of Fame.
