Description

Paul Taublieb directs this documentary about the career of NASCAR driver Michael Waltrip.

In his first 462 starts, he fails to win a single race, but forges a friendship with seven-time NASCAR champion Dale Earnhardt and joins his Dale Earnhardt, Inc. team, becoming teammates with Earnhardt's son, Dale Earnhardt Jr.

The 2001 Daytona 500, Waltrip's first race for DEI, sees Waltrip achieve his first win with Earnhardt Jr. finishing second, but Dale Earnhardt is killed in an accident on the final lap of the race.
