Here is the full story of the ZX series from the 280ZX - introduced as the second generation Z-car in 1978 - through to the 300ZX of 1999. The 240Z and 260Z were pure sports cars, but the 280ZX represented the evolution of the Z-car into a Grand Tourer.

This evolution continued through two generations of 300ZX and the Z became a true supercar with state-of-the-art engineering features. This book contains a great deal of new information for enthusiasts in the West, as Japanese models have been covered in detail for the first time.
