Description

During the winter of 2012 when farmer Brian Gittins (Earl) is trapped inside his remote cottage for several weeks, he decides to combat his loneliness by building a robot whom he names Charles (Hayward).

As he welcomes a documentary crew into his home to study Charles, it is clear that Brian has found a lifelong companion in Charles.
