Description

Double bill of 1990s made-for-TV horrors. In 'Buried Alive' (1990) Clint (Tim Matheson) owns a construction company and appears to live a normal, hard-working life along with his wife Joanna (Jennifer Jason Leigh).

What Clint doesn't know is that Joanna is having an affair with a doctor (William Atherton) and is desperate to escape the drudgery of her life with Clint.

Together Joanna and her lover hatch a plan to kill Clint and escape to California with the insurance money and the proceeds from the sale of his company.

They duly poison him and bury him, but have they made sure that the betrayed Clint is really dead?

In 'Buried Alive II' (1997), ten years after Clint rose from the grave to take revenge on the wife who tried to kill him, events look set to repeat themselves in the town of Dry Pond.

Randy Riskin (Stephen Caffrey) and his girlfriend, Roxanne (Tracey Needham), plan to murder Randy's wife, Laura (Ally Sheedy).

But will the arrival of a mysterious stranger derail their plans?
