Description
John Merivale and Didi Sullivan star in this Italian sci-fi horror directed by Riccardo Freda.
The film follows a team of archaeologists led by Dr John Fielding (Merivale) as they investigate the ruins of an ancient Mayan city where the inhabitants suddenly disappeared thousands of years previously.
Descending into a cave containing a sacrificial pool, the team unwittingly awaken a vengeful blob-like monster and find themselves in a race against time to try and take it down before it can take any more victims.
The cast also includes Gerard Herter and Giacomo Rossi-Stuart.
