Sectionalism and partiality to special classes or breeds have been avoided.
Emphasis has been laid upon the practical Side of horse husbandry.
Students as well as horse breeders have been kept in mind while preparing this book.
It is hoped that short-course students and college students will alike be able to use the text to advantage.
The grouping of the chapters into four parts should aid in rapid reference and student work.
