Description
Mireille Perrier and Isaach De Bankolé star in this French drama co-written and directed by Claire Denis.
When France Dalens (Perrier) returns to the region of Cameroon where she grew up, she is overwhelmed by memories of her childhood.
As a young girl, her father was a colonial administrator in Cameroon and she befriended Protée (De Bankolé), their family's servant, who was caught up in an impossible situation involving France's mother, Aimée (Giulia Boschi).
The cast also includes François Cluzet and Jean-Claude Adelin.
