Deer Creek : The Murders of William H. Gibson and John S. Frazer Paperback / softback

Paperback / softback

Description

In 1890 two Kansas cattlemen were murdered in Elk and Chautauqua Counties.

William H. Gibson and John S. Frazer were killed after Tick Fever decimated herds, which was brought to Kansas with their Texas Longhorns.

Gibson was poisoned in a hotel room while Frazer was brutally stabbed on the prairie.

The crime remains unsolved. The author has spent years studying newspapers and legal documents to chronicle events occurring before and after the homicides.
