Review by Gorthalon
1.5

The concept was intriguing - there were definitely quite a few brilliant ideas.

However, the book was disappointing. Throughout the entire thing, the author told us what the characters were like. We weren't shown development. We weren't really shown anything, only presented with convenient stereotypes to slot each character into.

I had a few other problems with this book but I won't elaborate; I think it's hard enough to write a book without people heaping negative criticism on you.

To put it simply, it was a great idea but the execution fell rather flat.

(If anyone is looking for a book with a similar premise, I definitely recommend Ruby Red)
