He Who Cannot Die, Paperback / softback Book

He Who Cannot Die Paperback / softback

Part of the The Odyssey of Cain series

Paperback / softback

Description

According to stories passed down in holy writings, Cain was mankind's first murderer. Characterized with a jealous rage in which he killed his own brother, Cain was said to be cursed to wander an inhospitable Earth, unable to die.

Murder doesn't just happen, though, and stories get twisted as they are handed down through time. Cain wasn't actually the first to kill another.

He was, however, the first human to truly love another in a brutal and reptilian world where men shared their women and companionship was nothing more than a means to survival.

After slaying his brother to protect the woman that he loved, Cain was tried and marked by the famous witch Tashibag. She placed a curse on him to never die and to lose any woman that he would ever come to love once a certain amount of time had passed. Cain would learn very quickly that love could not be avoided forever, that the curse was real, and that attempting to break it would always lead to grim consequences that could not be undone.

It is now modern-day, and Cain has only days to finally figure out how to break his curse before he must suffer the heartache of losing yet another woman that he loves. With the clock against him, he tells the story of what existence has been for him so far, while he leaves on an undertaking to finally find the witch who has eluded him since the beginning.
