He had various short stories published in magazines and an anthology before publishing a collection of short stories in late 1998.

Darren works in a top PR agency in Kent and lives with his wife, Natalie.Turtle Island is the first novel in the Georgina O'Neil trilogy and follows 'Tripping' published in 2007.
