She has run an established riding school for over ten years and has many coaching qualifications, but her unique qualities come from her down-to-earth, friendly, positive attitude and ability to relate to all ages. She is a parent of twins and understands the high expectations of child development in recreational activities. Debbie's life is now completely dedicated to her family, her horses, and the charity that she and her husband, Mark, founded, called Giddy Up Gold Coast. This is a not-for-profit venture aimed at the grassroots of the sport, which is passionate about the healing aspects of horses for the community. Development in confidence, nonverbal communication techniques, and emotional control, along with an escape from technology and getting back to nature to unplug and unwind, are the key areas of focus for Debbie and Mark, together with the mental and physical strength to handle life's challenges and to experience the energy, love, and freedom horses can provide.
