Paperback / softback

Description

"Burn" is a large ensemble piece telling the story of Joey, aka Birdman, an inquisitive, fostered teenager who left more questions than he ever asked.

Reflecting on the events on the day of his death, each of his friends tell their part of the story of what happened.

This beautifully poetic yet poignant and intense play gives insight into adolescent awkwardness and the search for identity and belonging.

This play for young people premiered as part of the "Shell Connections" series in London at the National Theatre in 2005.
