The bulk of material featured in this collection was written by Fats and David Bartholomew. For much of the 1950's, his records could be heard on juke boxes, radios and television programmes. 'I'm Walkin'', 'I Want to Walk You Home' and 'Ain't That a Shames' being prime examples. He would influence legendary musical figures who had been inspired by the man, and the music on this collection.
