Most poems were written during the poet's teenage and young adult years.
It contains some of the poet's mother's favorite poems and is a dedication to her after dealing with a tough cancer diagnosis.
G.M. doesn't hold back on dealing with both the beautiful and difficult moments in life and the contemplation of a greater purpose in the universe.
This chapbook is raw, hopeful, spiritual, dark at times, and even fun at times.
It moves well with a combination of short and long free-verse poems.
It has a poem for everyone. The last few poems still leave the reader wanting more, another page to turn, another poem to feel inside.
