Description

George Marshall directs this drama starring Tony Curtis in the titular role.

While working in a carnival, Harry Houdini meets Bess (Janet Leigh) and the two fall in love and marry.

As he progresses from working in a locksmith factory to mastering his craft as an escape artist, touring Europe and finding fame in America, Bess worries for his safety as his stunts become increasingly dangerous.
