Description

The Bible in the Life of the Church project was commissioned by the Anglican Consultative Council at its meeting in Jamaica in may 2009. its aim is to explore how Anglicans use the Bible and to distill from and develop from these explorations the principles of Anglican hermeneutics.

In part one, writers from around the world reflect on their experiences using Scripture. Part two delves into some timely and relevant issues for Anglicans, including the Bible and homosexuality, and the Bible and the lectionary.
