This report provides an updated assessment of movements of official financing for developing countries during 1997-99.
Financial flows were considerably affected by the Asian crisis and net dispersals from multilateral institutions increased from $14 billion in 1996 to $47 billion in 1998 before declining to $6 billion in 1999.
