Description

Throughout his life, playwright and novelist John Galsworthy had a keen interest in the notion of imprisonment and confinement, and as an adult, he devoted a great deal of his focus to advocating for the humane treatment of prisoners.

These themes bleed into his creative work in the 1910 play Justice, which addresses the problems with England's criminal justice system on both a practical and a philosophical level.
