Description
2006 LP from legendary NY hip hop group the Jungle Brothers. The group make an eclectic stylistic voyage stopping off at house music, via Afrocentric philosophies, James Brown, as well as the use of jazz samples, on 'I Got U'. Jungle Brothers comprised Michael Small (Mike Gee), Nathaniel Hall (Afrika Baby Bam), and Sammy Burwell (DJ Sammy B), and are known as pioneers of the fusion of jazz, hip-hop, and house music.
