Sweet Is The Memory, Paperback / softback Book

Sweet Is The Memory Paperback / softback

Part of the Choral Signature Series series

Paperback / softback

Description

Sweet is the Memory is a setting of a quotation from Cicero, the great Roman orator and writer. 'Sweet is the memory of troubles past, of trials o'er, of sorrow gone'.

The words would make this suitable for any reflective occasion, or as a concert piece.

Ken Burton is the Director of the London Adventist Choir.

The setting is for unaccompanied mixed voices and has solo lines for a treble (or a few trebles) and tenor voice. The Faber Choral Signature Series introduces a wealth of new or recently written choral music to choirs in search of fresh repertoire.

The series draws in a rich diversity of living composers and includes both lighter and more challenging contemporary works, offering a thrilling array of varied styles.
