This 8th edition begins with a brief introduction to the skeletal, muscular, nervous, circulatory systems and organs. The introductory chapter is followed by chapters on regional anatomy. These include back, thorax, abdomen, perineum and pelvis, lower limb, upper limb, and head and neck. It was decided to separate the chapter devoted to cranial and autonomic nerves to describe them more deeply, with illustrations which facilitate a deeper understanding of the functions of these nerves and a better retention of new knowledge.
