Review by

Never judge a book by a cover - well for this one you can. What a beautiful cover - I love the spine of this paperback, it looks fabulous on the shelf (and will make a lovely gift). The chapters are equally as vibrant, each one with illustrations that appeal visually and complement the writing. For the actual contents of the book you can't fail to find something that is informative, useful and interesting.I enjoyed the layout of the book, it is easy to find information about the wines/regions from different countries and this content is exactly what you'd expect in any wine book but to be honest there's something just a bit more appealing about this book. I liked the "if you like ... then you might want to try this" and in fact I did exactly that and was surprised how well it worked (and I've discovered a new wine type I like!). A genuinely interesting guide and I'm pleased to have discovered via Amazon Vine.
