Description

Classical Favourites For Piano Book 2

This is the second of two classical sheet music books I have arranged for piano. The skill level required for this book is grade 1 to grade 3 level, some of the pieces in this book are relatively easy to play, however, beginners should be assisted by a piano teacher especially with the more advanced pieces in this book. All the pieces in this book are nowhere near concert pianist level so in that respect can be considered easy to play.

Classical music by its very nature can be considered difficult to play and indeed, original manuscripts from Beethoven, Mozart, Bach and many other classical music composers are very challenging to play. With that in mind, I have arranged the pieces in this book to appeal to the thousands of classical music fans that want easier versions of their favourite classical pieces. You wont find full on symphonies with pages and pages to play in this book, many of the pieces in this book are two, three, four and five pages at most and while the music in this book is arranged for piano, I have also included chord symbols for those that don't want to or can't read bass clef, so electronic keyboard and organ players can also enjoy playing these pieces.

Contents:

  1. Trumpet Voluntary
  2. Caprice
  3. Piano Concerto No 1
  4. Sonata Pathetique
  5. Swan Lake
  6. Theme From Jupiter
  7. Sonata In C Major
  8. Etude
  9. Eine Kleine Nachtmusik
  10. Wedding March (Here Comes The Bride)

Piano Teachers

Although the pieces in this book are greatly simplified compared to the original manuscripts, there is still plenty to learn and I can highly recommend these books for piano teachers. As a former piano and keyboard teacher myself I understand the importance of choosing the right music and in the right format to aid not only the teacher but the students success in playing in a comfortable and enjoyable way, hopefully for the rest of their lives.

Adult Hobbyist

If you are not a professional musician but like playing the piano purely for your enjoyment, then its probably your hobby and as long as you have an understanding of written music, you will enjoy this book especially if you like classical music. If you are a beginner that wants to play the piano as a hobby, you can still enjoy playing the music in this book as long as you have the assistance of a piano teacher, even if it's only for a few months, you wont regret it and it will open a new world for you. My name is Michael Shaw, I hope you find this book useful, Good luck with your music.
