Edited by Olayiwola Abegunrin, Sabella Ogbobode Abidde

Hardback

Description

This Festschrift is in honour of a distinguished scholar and Pan-Africanist, Professor Sulayman S.

Nyang, whose career and intellectual pursuits span over 45 years.

Professor Sulayman Nyang joined Howard University shortly after graduating from the University of Virginia with a Masters of Arts in Public Administration and went on to obtain a Ph.D. in Government in 1974. Professor Nyangs contributions to African affairs transcend the scope of the academic world, as he has served as First Secretary and Head of Chancery of the Gambian Embassy in Saudi Arabia from 1975-1977, and a consultant to the World Bank and United Nations agencies.
