Construction of Biogas Plants in Rural Communities, Paperback / softback Book

Construction of Biogas Plants in Rural Communities Paperback / softback

Paperback / softback

Description

The fermentation of organic waste carried out in the "Biodigesters", which are included in the "Clean" technologies, determines the production of biogas that is used as fuel, the reduction of environmental pollution and the obtaining of a liquid effluent very useful as organic fertilizer (Biofertilizers) due to the quantity and quality of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium that it is able to contribute to the environment and that economically is more beneficial than biogas itself.

It also improves the conditions of women's domestic work, prevents deforestation, contamination of the water table and the spread of diseases through water.

By using biogas, the person in charge of domestic chores, mainly women, are not forced to go out to look for firewood for cooking, increasingly distant in the forest, nor depend on the supply of charcoal or kerosene with its usual problems of handling, scarcity and toxicity.

Biogas does not generate any unpleasant odors that could affect people or harm the environment, since the manure that constitutes one of the main waste products from which this fuel is obtained is not used for cooking.
