The first in the Ender series and still the best one. Here we meet Ender and the rest of the jeesh. Some people die, as do lots of aliens.

This book is excellent. It is the only one i have read that where smalll childern really fight and even kill each other! I admit that does sound barbaric but trust me the story is excellent and has real depth. Orson was really paving the way for the likes of Harry Potter. Especially the zero G combat games (They sound very familiar to a game played by Mr Potter!?)

Violence using children as the antagonists.

Ender, a young boy trained/raised to be a young soldier who will save Earth from aliens re-invading, through use of video/virtual reality games. Is it the aliens that are the danger or the men forcing the children to train? This does what all good Sci-Fi book should do -- raise questions about humanity.

This book is great if you are just getting into Science Fiction because it is an easy read with a lot of interesting characters. I liked this book a lot because it took me to a new level of child labor. How cruel and intense is that? You love it right?
