Description
Five men escape from the prison on Devil's Island off French Guyana and join the Free French Forces.
These include Humphrey Bogart, an embittered journalist, rallied to a self destructive pursuit of patriotism by a suave radical (Sidney Greenstreet).
With a similar cast and the same director, this was viewed as a kind of follow up to 'Casablanca'.
