The Aberrant Lives of Damian Callahan Paperback / softback

Paperback / softback

Description

After Damian Callahan suffers a head injury that leads to a diagnosis of terminal brain cancer, his life turns upside down. The chaos begins when Callahan sets out on a quixotic journey of hallucinatory proportions to pursue the woman of his dreams-a woman who might be a figment of his imagination.

Meanwhile, Callahan's guardian angel has been working overtime, in lieu of the diagnosis, and he's not perfect. He scrambles to secure his charge another chance, but it won't be easy, owing to how many lives Callahan experiences at once.

As his many lives collide with one another, Callahan questions whether the head injury, the diagnosis of terminal brain cancer, and the life he has chosen to live are not part of a larger hallucination-namely, an extension of the last seconds of his life experienced as a small boy abducted just a block from his home.
