My purpose for writing this book was to leave a piece of History for my family and friends.

I hope they will enjoy the stories and appreciate the struggles of a typical country family.

Thanks to all the wonderful people who have encouraged me, and gave me the will to finish the second book.

Without this I would not have continued. It has been a struggle but a wonderful trip. I want to acknowledge my good friend Budd Gavel. He has been my proof reader and advisor. Thank you Budd for your guidance and the laughter we shared along the way.

I want to thank my son Kendall Taylor for his Cartoons and a Special thanks to Veterans affairs Canada for permission to use their photo of the old Airplane on the front cover.

Thanks to the museum of industry in Stellarton Nova Scotia for letting me use a photo of their Shopmobile.
