I have referred to the plays of Plautus (except the Aides) according to Acts and Scenes, because there is no edition of all the plays in which the verses are numbered continuously; but I have te ferred to the plays of Terence as numbered throughout.

In Introd. V will be found some attempts of my own at versifying in the style and manner of Plautus.
