A very cute book about Alfie going to a birthday party alone. He decides to bring his comfort blanket and refuses to put it down to play with bubbles or eat. His birthday friend decides to scare his friends with a tiger mask and frightens the other children. Alfie decides to put his safety blanket down and hold both of his friends hands and resolve the issue. This is a good book to help little kids who are being presented with no having their mom and dads with them at all times. For instance, the first day of prek.

Alfie learns how to be more independent and learns how to deal with separation from his mom and his blanket so he can have fun with his friends and comfort someone who needs him at a birthday party.
