Featuring footage from the opening concert of the Salzburg Festival from 1986 where he performed Erich Korngold's Violin Concerto with the Vienna Philharmonic conducted by Seiji Ozawa, the documentary takes an in-depth look at how that performance started Schmid's life-long journey to becoming one of the world's greatest violinists.
