Description

Collection of Shakespeare's plays set in Rome. 'Coriolanus' (2017) is set around the drama that unfolds on the battlefield around Caius Martius Coriolanus (Sope Dirisu), an ambitious, fearless soldier who doesn't want to be a leader, even after his mother uses her influence to get him into a position of power.

Finally, in 'Titus Andronicus' (2017), David Troughton plays the role of the Roman army general who sacrifices the eldest son of Tamora Queen of the Goths (Nia Gwynne) to avenge his sons who were killed in war.

Tamora plots her own scheme for revenge while Titus refuses to become the new emperor, a decision which has tragic consequences.
