Description
American comedy in which plucky radio vet Abby (Janeane Garofalo) has her world turned upside down while giving advice on pet care on her weekly phone-in show.
When a caller (Ben Chaplin) falls for the sound of her voice, Abby is excited that there might be a chance for romance in her life, but she does not feel confident enough to follow it through.
What she does instead is arrange for a date with the interested party using her beautiful friend Noelle (Uma Thurman) as a stand-in, an unwise idea which leads to many romantic complications.
