Celesse, the healer cat, is a highly respected member of the neighborhood. As the mistress's favorite cat, she spends lazy days in the warmth of the house. One snowy night a mother hare rushes in, desperate for help. Reluctantly, the healer cat travels with her through a nighttime snowstorm and biting cold winds. In a dark forest, Celesse comes face-to-face with a scary surprise and is forced to gather her powers for the first time in a while.

افسون‌پیشی، گربه شفابخش، به لطف نیروی خارق‌العاده‌ای که دارد، در میان همسایگان از احترام و جایگاه ویژه‌ای برخوردار است. از آنجا که افسون‌پیشی محبوب دل بانوی خانه است، می‌تواند تمام روزهای بی‌تحرکش را در گرمای داخل کلبه کوچکی که بانوی خانه به حیوانات اختصاص داده است بگذراند.

اما روزی از روزها، سر و کله خرگوش مادری پیدا می‌شود که سراسیمه آمده است تا از او کمک بگیرد. پافشاری خرگوش بر بی‌میلی گربه شفابخش غلبه می‌کند و او را به میانه کولاک و سرمای استخوان‌سوز یک شب برفی می‌کشاند. افسون‌پیشی در ادامه، در جنگلی تاریک، با حادثه غیرمنتظره و وحشتناکی مواجه می‌شود که او را وادار می‌کند از تمام قدرتش کمک بگیرد.

در پایان آن شب طولانی و آن سفر موفقیت‌آمیز، خورشید طلوع می‌کند و نه تنها جنگل برفی که قلب گربه شفابخش را هم با نور خود گرم می‌کند.
